Roger Booth

Profile

Roger learnt to ring in a small country village in Gloucestershire at the age of 11, and has been ringing ever since. Roger’s father and two brothers have rung, and it even appears that his great, great, great grandfather conducted a peal of Grandsire Triples in one of the local towers.

Now living in London, Roger works as a Director of a practice of Architects and Surveyors, and these skills have been put to good use, helping to restore a number of local towers (Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Walworth and Isle of Dogs) and well as installing a completely new ring of ten at Limehouse.

Having completed this work, Roger is keen that there should be plenty of ringers to ring them, hence his involvement with the Ringing Foundation, The Docklands Ringing Centre and the Charmborough Bell Trust
