Ringing in a Resolution

Happy New Year!

Whether you were ringing in the new year last night or not, we hope you have a successful 2012 and that your ringing continues to grow in prosperity.

As it traditional, now is the time for many of us to decide on a new project for the new year. We wanted to give you a couple of Ringing Foundation suggestions….

1. Become a Director

The Board meet on a quarterly basis in Central London to discuss the current projects, initiatives and actions of the Foundation. Everyone is invited to become a member of the Board, we appreciate every offer of help or assistance regardless of age or ringing ability – all we require is enthusiasm! The ringing community needs your help to grow, and your help at the Ringing Foundation would be very valuable. Please do contact our Chairman, Brian Meads

2. Join the ITTS – Become an accredited instructor

We need lots more new ringers, especially young ringers. So to train these new ringers we need teachers with the ability to successfully convert recruits into capable ringers. The ITTS has been created to provide modern training in the teaching of bell handling and elementary change ringing to a whole new generation of ringing teachers – including you! Whether you’ve ever taught before or not, join the new accreditation pathway in 2012.
