Launching the Association of Ringing Teachers

The ITTS course is growing!

On  the 7th March 2012, 172 New Teachers, 99 Mentors and 18 Observers had attended Module 1 – Teaching Bell Handling.

For Module 2 – Teaching Elementary Change Ringing the numbers were 39 New Teachers, 19 Mentors and 5 observers.

“New Teachers” are starting to complete Modules, it was decided that to ensure continued sponsorship from the Ringing Foundation a teacher group should be established .

Last Sunday, 4th March, a meeting of a group of ITTS tutors was held in Oxford, a representative of the Ringing Foundation, also attended.

The “Association of Ringing Teachers” A.R.T. was established.

When people finish either Module of the ITTS they will  be eligible to join the register of members of the Association of Ringing Teachers

People who have completed both Modules will be Full Members and those who have completed only one will be Associate Members.  Associate members will have all the benefits of full membership but will not have voting rights.

I have read through the module outlines and believe its a good proramme to follow, just one thing thats not clear to me, is what is the cost of the scheme?
